The Message
~ High Energy
~
My Dear Brother,
My
message to you this time revolves around high energy, because it has been said that “A man with high energy, is what
Allah (swt) livens up an Ummah with,” and a true Muslim is one who takes interest in the bigger issues and not the pointless
ones, unites the Muslims and doesn’t separate them, and works hard so that his Ummah is always at the top. This is because
he is a man of priorities, a message, and da’wa.
On
the other hand, a non-true Muslim, is one who wastes his time in petty matters, and these are the types of Muslims that contribute
to the impediment of the Ummah, that prevent it from moving forward, always trying breakdown the energy of others. They slow
down productivity and separate the Muslims, and this is due to their narrow minds and lack of ability to look further ahead,
and their lack of interest in what benefits them, their Ummah, and their community.
My
dear brother be aware that a person with high energy is a reactive Muslim, always in tune with events. Reactivity and high
energy are two important keys in the making of a productive Muslim character. A Muslim that is reactive, should be one with
high energy, not weakened by any hardships and not distracted by trivial matters. And a person of high energy is always confident
that Allah (swt) is on his side, optimistic with what Allah (swt) has written for him/her, always sure that no matter how
long the night may be, the break of dawn is inevitable, and the light of Allah (swt) is never to be turned off by anyone.
Allah
(swt) has said: “ Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, however
much the disbelievers are averse. He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He
may make it conqueror of all religion, however much idolaters may be averse. (61: 8-9)
Omar
Ibn Abd Al-Aziz said: “ I have a spirit full of longing, and whatever it longs for it achieves. Today it longs for paradise
and will not accept anything other than paradise.
Ibn al-Qayim, may Allah
(swt) have mercy upon him, said, describing high energy: the highest of energy is having the soul not stand without Allah
(swt), and not replace Him with others, and not accept others instead of Him, and not give away its closeness, happiness,
and joy with Him for something of this never lasting world. The higher the energy the more difficult it is for anything to
reach it and bring it down, and the lower the energy the easier it is to be destroyed.
So,
my brother, be of those whose energy is always reaching the sky. And be cautious of landing to the ground, because that is
not of the character of true believers.
May
Allah (swt) guide you and I, and plant Taqwa in our hearts.
Until
we meet again, I leave you in the protection of Allah (swt).
